Margrét Bjarnadóttir graduated with a BA in choreography from ArtEZ in Arnhem, Holland, in 2006. Since then she has worked as a choreographer, theater maker and performer. As well as making her own work, she is a member of the Icelandic theater collective Me and My Friends, who´s work includes Humanimal and Be My Guest. In 2010 Margrét received an 8 months residency at K3 – Zentrum fur Choreographie – Tanzplan Hamburg, where she created and performed her latest piece, On Misunderstanding, which premiered in Kampnagel Theater in November 2010. She is currently working on her solo performance, All is Ego, to be premiered at the Reykjavík Dance Festival in September 2012.
