Multi-faceted and genre-spanning jaymez has exploded into the world of live video projection. Besides being the resident visualist at Bass Invaders and having played at the Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition since it’s inception in 2009, he’s been a member of a number of bands, including SKF, Cloudfight and IMGC, with whom he has toured the country. He has also half of an experimental voice+visual project The Gritty with soprano Sarah Kirsch. His schizoid genre jumping has allowed him opportunity to provide visuals for a diverse variety of acts such as Merzbow, Venetian Snares, Download, Goth-Trad, Process Rebel, DeadBeat, Vilify, John B, Joe Nice, Fjóla Evans, Plumes, the Pazzia Collective, Slattern, Shooting Guns, Lava Goat, as well as opening for Crystal Castles and Napalm Death.
