Friðgeir Einarsson

Friðgeir (b. 1981) is an Icelandic theater artist, working as a performer, director and author. In 2008 Friðgeir graduated from the Theater Department of the Icelandic Academy of Art with a B.A. in Contemporary Theory and Practice. He has since worked independently and collaborated with several Icelandic theater groups, including Me and my friends and 16 lovers.  Friðgeir has participated and performed in Icelandic theater pieces such as Humanimal, Be my guest, The Nigerian Scam and Disturbance as well as TV-series Heimsendir (World’s End) in 2012. Friðgeir’s latest solo work, Nothing, was a part of the Sequences festival in Reykjavík in 2011 and included the publishing of the book The Amateur’s Guide to the Large Signification Collider. Fridgeir also has a B.A. in Icelandic language from the University of Iceland.
