Gisli Galdur Thorgeirsson, aka DJ Magic, is known for driving people crazy on the dance floor with his extraordinary mix of music genres melted rhythmically together! He’s been DJ-ing for about 15 years and in that period has played with numerous Icelandic bands (Quarashi, Trabant, Ghostigital) and done thousands of gigs at almost every club in Iceland as well as in New York, London, St. Petersburg and Copenhagen. He’s played for numerous crowd capacities, ranging from 2 people to 30,000.
Gisli Galdur has experimented with numerous styles of music and incorporated the scratch element into jazz, rock, funk-fusion, hip hop and many other styles.He’s also worked with artists such as Ásdís Sif Gunnarsdóttir where he has performed sound installations incorporated with video art.
