13 year old singer and songwriter Dane Bjornson has been performing on stages around both Winnipeg and Gimli since he was 9, and self-produced his first EP, “Lucky Day” in 2012. He can be been a licensed busker at The Forks for the past 3 years. Dane appeared on three episodes of YTV’s The Next Star in 2011, where he made it to the Top 16 in Toronto. Dane’s other recent projects include the recently released, “Just Believe in Me” song and video by Starry Skies Collide in support of K.I.D.S Initiative and the role of Happy Boy on children entertainer Bob King’s latest CD, “In the Land of Bobs.” His biggest gigs to date have been playing an opening set for Down With Webster at the Burton Cummings Theatre in March of 2011, and TJ’s Gift Rockin for Choices at MTS Centre in April 2013.
