Anna-Laure Koop

Anna-Laure is a bilingual performer and director, born in Montreal and now residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has performed in numerous productions for Le Cercle Molèire including Plus (+) Que Toi and Le Père. Anna-Laure has also appeared in the cross-provincial tour of Theatre of the Beats’ A Bicycle Built for Two, and in the Kristine Nutting’s Three Sisters a Black Opera in Three Acts for RMTC’s Chekhovfest. As a director she has worked for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and Cercle Moleire since graduating with a BA in theatre from the University of Winnipeg, and a diploma from the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. Anna-Laure is currently leading the research process of One Trunk’s newest work A Feminine Touch, a musical retrospective of female rock bands in Winnipeg in the 1960s-70s.
