Kanilsnældur

DJs Sigrún Skaftadóttir (25) and Lovísa Arnardóttir (27) are Reykjavík ladyparty sensation, Kanilsnældur. The group’s name is a pun on the Icelandic words for “cinnamon buns” and “record spinning.” Born in 2011 from a group of DJs and friends regularly hosting club nights in Reykjavik, Kanilsnældur has emerged as a main fixture in Reykjavík nightlife, regularly appearing on Icelandic National radio and in clubs across the city.
