This weekend in Winnipeg – Cell 7 from Iceland and KIMMORTAL on a double bill!

Kimmortal is a queer Filipinx second generation (they/she) second generation settler based on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples: the Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish, and Musqueam nations. Recognized as “a voice to be heard” by Exclaim magazine, Kimmortal has been making waves with their multifaceted approach to music. Incorporating song, visual art, rap, and frequently collaborating with poets and dancers, Kimmortal strives to make an impact with their live performances. Their new album “X marks the Swirl” arrives 5 years since their first album “Sincerity” (2014).

10th Anniversary 2016 núna (now) Festival Programming nearly ready to be announced!

We’re almost ready to announce our program! Did ya’ll know that it’s our 10th anniversary this year? Since 2006 núna (now) has numerous events, attended by locals from near and afar.
